Upon entering our building, these mats clean your shoes as you take a few steps on this special dirt-trapping mat. The floor stays clean, and the potential risk of damaging the floor surface is minimized.
The functioning of our systems is exceptionally effective because they consist of three cleaning zones (clean-off zone). A visitor entering the building moves over several different surfaces equipped with inserts made of vinyl, ribbed carpet, and brushes.
The coarsest dirt is already captured by the recessed floor mats outdoors before entering the building, which constitute the first part of the mat system. This prevents dirt from entering the interior of the building.
In the initial entrance area, shoes are freed from the coarsest dirt with the help of the shoe scraper mat with brushes. Alternatively, a combination of brushes and rubber is possible.
Recessed floor mats outdoors also serve an aesthetic function. The area in front of the entrance appears elegant and can be stylistically tailored to the building's needs.
The indoor area is typically protected by floor mats equipped with ribbed carpet, as they serve a slightly different function - they channel water away and dry shoes.
Both rubber and brushes can also be used indoors, but ideally in a longer entrance area.
On the second surface in the indoor entrance area, remnants of coarse dirt are removed.
The third and final zone of the shoe scraper system is the most absorbent mat. This allows our visitors to take their first step outside the entrance mat system on our floor with completely dry shoes.
