Various profiles in heights of 12 mm or 19 mm and widths of 30 mm or 50 mm are available and can be used to create effective indoor shoe scrapers.
The textile shoe scrapers in our product range are characterized by high-quality craftsmanship and effective cleaning and drying properties. For effective scrubbing, cleaning, and drying of footwear, the soles should touch the mat 2-3 times. It is generally assumed that after the first 2 meters, the textile surface captures 42% of the water and dirt, after 4 meters—up to 65%, and after 6 meters—up to 90%. Additionally, the adhesion of the textile mat to the substrate should be considered—if insufficient, the mat can become a tripping hazard. Recessed aluminum profile mats significantly reduce the risk of accidents.
To maintain effectiveness and longevity, the mat should be cleaned and maintained regularly. Some models can absorb up to four liters of liquid per square meter, emphasizing the importance of maintenance.
The maintenance plan should include vacuuming the surface, particularly in high-traffic areas, to prevent dirt accumulation. Weekly brushing improves vacuuming effects by loosening fibers and facilitating access to embedded dirt. Brushing also allows air circulation, speeding up drying.
A monthly cleaning using the extraction method thoroughly cleans the fibers and removes any remaining impurities. In the case of textile mats, most can be easily washed in appropriate laundries.
